HCA HealthONE Sky Ridge is seeking an enthusiastic Interventional Rad Specialist to deliver high-quality patient care within Interventional Radiology. Candidates must hold an RN license or ARRT/RCIS credentials and maintain BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license or ARRT (R) with (VI) or RCIS with CCI and CE compliant.
• BLS Healthcare Provider certification through AHA or ARC.
• ACLS and PALS Provider Certification required for RNs.
• Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing or 24-month AMA approved school of Radiological Technology.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, appropriate patient care and exemplary customer service to patients across age groups.
• Be willing to enter call rotation, including weekends and holidays; cross-train to one or more modalities as required.
• Maintain communication and collaboration with radiologists and referring physicians; uphold sterile technique and nursing standards.

Job Summary And Qualifications

Responsible for solid to expert knowledge of all Special/Interventional Procedures, and being able to provide appropriate and positive patient care and exemplary customer service to patients, ranging in age from newborn to late adulthood. Maintains strong communication and organization within Interventional Radiology, as well interdepartmentally, and with radiologist and referring physicians. Consistently demonstrates efficient sterile technique skills. Maintains and supports facility technical and documentation expectations consistent with JCAHO regulations and standards. Consistently demonstrates critical thinking skills in day to day job prioritization, and assumes accountability for personal and team contributions. Must be willing to enter call rotation, to include weekend and holidays, as well as be willing to cross train to one or more modalities, as required.

For this position you will need:

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) License or a Current ARRT (R) with (VI) or (CV) certification or RCIS with CCI and CE compliant. Current BLS Healthcare Provider certification through AHA or ARC. Advanced ARRT Credentials Strongly preferred within one year. ACLS and PALS Provider Certification required for RN’s.
• Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing or 24-month AMA approved school of Radiological Technology.
• Two years experience in critical care nursing preferred (RN) or one year diagnostic experience required (ARRT). Interventional Radiology experience preferred.
• Solid to expert knowledge of all Interventional Radiology procedures. Demonstrates good organizational skills. Provides safe and appropriate patient care within the Values & Standards of Nursing Practice at SMC. Displays appropriate judgment and problem solving skills. Communicates positively and professionally with all internal and external customers.
