Job summary

Good Shepherd Health Care is seeking an experienced Interventional Nurse Manager to coordinate all aspects of patient care for interventional radiology and cardiology procedures. You will supervise RNs, Rad Techs, and CVTs, manage the department both operationally and fiscally, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

You will collaborate with Radiology, Cardiology, and the House Supervisor to optimize daily interventional nursing and technologist activity, reporting to the OR Director.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing; BSN required.
• Evidence of appropriate continuing education for skill level and area of practice.
• MSN preferred.
• Current RN license in the State of Oregon; BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Certifications specific to areas of clinical specialty preferred (e.g., RCIS).
• At least one year of experience in Interventional Radiology or Cath Lab as a manager/supervisor/coordinator in an OR.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate interventional staffing and patient care activities (RN, RT, CVT).
• Manage interventional area operationally and fiscally.
• Verify interventional personnel provide safe patient care.
• Coordinate with Radiology, Cardiology, and House Supervisor for daily activity.
• Oversee supplies, equipment, and par levels; ensure regulatory compliance.
• Lead performance improvement initiatives and data analysis for the area.
• Interview for interventional personnel selection.
• Support department with change management and staff development.
