Job summary

Wyckoff Heights Medical Center in New York seeks a Patient Care Manager Interventional Radiology to lead clinical operations, patient flow, and staffing across the IR suite. This full-time, on-site role emphasizes safety, quality, and staff development.

The ideal candidate is an experienced RN with BSN (MSN preferred), holds BLS/ACLS, and has 3–5 years in IR or cath labs plus 2–3 years of leadership. This position offers a dynamic team environment and opportunities to drive standards.

Qualifications

• BSN required; MSN preferred.
• Active RN license in state of employment.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• CRN or Nurse Executive certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily patient scheduling and throughput from pre-op holding to post-procedure recovery.
• Formulate and adjust staffing schedules based on census and acuity.
• Address complex patient care problems or procedural emergencies as frontline clinical resource.
• Enforce radiation safety, sterile techniques, and contrast-allergy management.
• Lead HR activities including interviewing, hiring, mentoring, and performance evaluations.
• Partner with nurse educators for onboarding and mandatory education compliance.
