Job summary

The Cath Lab Nurse Manager at Good Shepherd Health Care System will lead the Cath Lab with Surgical Services leadership to ensure safe, efficient intraoperative care across a 24-hour period. Reporting to the Director of Surgical Services, you will supervise RNs, LPNs, techs, CNAs and support staff while aligning practice with accreditation standards.

Required: BSN, Oregon RN license, 5+ years Cath Lab/IR experience, and leadership experience; preferred MSN and CNOR.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing required.
• Oregon RN license; BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC.
• Minimum 5 years Cath Lab or Interventional Radiology experience.
• Basic computer skills and Electronic Health Records experience.
• Preferred: Master of Science in Nursing; CNOR.

Responsibilities

• Manage Cath Lab area operationally and fiscally.
• Assist in developing the operational and capital budget.
• Verify safe patient care in the area managed.
• Incorporate evidence-based practices into patient care.
• Coordinate and manage changes within the Cath Lab.
