Orlando Health, Inc. is seeking an experienced endoscopy support professional to assist physicians during complex GI procedures. The role includes setting up cautery, preparing agents, and ensuring readiness of equipment for procedures in OR/ICU/ER.

Responsibilities include endoscope maintenance, performing specimen labeling, and contributing to teaching and research efforts. The position requires the ability to work emergency shifts, evenings, and weekends as needed.

Formación

• High School diploma or GED required; Associate degree preferred; Medical Assistant Certificate preferred.
• 3-5 years related work experience required.
• Knowledge of medical terminology required.
• Technical and analytical abilities to operate equipment and perform tests with accuracy.

Responsabilidades

• Assist the endoscopist during complex endoscopic procedures (ERCP, EUS, EMR, ESD).
• Set up cautery settings for interventional procedures.
• Prepare and mix agents for endoscopic procedures.
• Provide endoscopic support during emergencies in OR, ICU, and ER.
• Operate AV equipment for recording teaching cases.
