Job summary

Orlando Health Melbourne Hospital in Melbourne, FL, is seeking an experienced professional to provide direct and indirect support to attending physicians in complex GI procedures. The role involves preparing procedural suites, assisting with advanced endoscopic techniques, and ensuring equipment readiness for cases, with after-hours call coverage.

Candidate will have a clinical background, 3+ years of experience, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or GED Required.
• Associate degree in Biological/medical field Preferred.
• 3 Years of clinical experience Required.
• Solid experience with scope reprocessing Required.
• Prior experience with POEM/ESD/EMR/RFA/ERCP/EUS Preferred.
• Current BLS Healthcare Provider Certification Required.

Responsibilities

• Assists the endoscopist during complex endoscopic procedures (ERCP, EUS, EMR, ESD).
• Sets up cautery settings for interventional procedures.
• Mixes agents in correct proportions for endoscopic procedures.
• Provide endoscopic support for emergencies in OR, ICU and ER.
• Operates AV equipment for recording teaching cases.
