Job summary

Orlando Health, Inc. seeks an Advanced Endoscopy Technician to perform advanced interventional endoscopic procedures and support the physician, RN and Endoscopy Team. The role ensures instrumentation care before, during, and after endoscopy, in Orlando.

Qualified candidates have high school or equivalent, 3 years endoscopy experience if certified, or 5 years if non-certified, and current BLS. Certifications like GTS or CBSPD are required or two extra years of experience.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Certified team members must have three (3) years of endoscopy experience.
• Non-certified team member must have five (5) years of endoscopy experience.
• Maintains current BLS/HealthCare Provider certification.
• Must meet one of: GTS or CBSPD Flexible Scope Certification, or two (2) additional years of endoscopy experience.

Responsibilities

• Supports advanced interventional endoscopic procedures for physician and team.
• Assists with instrument care before, during, and after endoscopy.
• Precepts new endoscopy technicians and provides staff training.
• Captures fluoroscopic images and troubleshoots equipment as needed.
• Maintains, cleans, and stores endoscopic equipment and supplies.
