Qualifications

• Endoscopy Technician certification preferred.
• BLS certification or equivalent required/licensed.

Responsibilities

• Assist in gastroenterology procedures as Endoscopy Technician.
• Prepare procedure room based on updated schedule.
• Position patients considering safety and comfort.
• Assist physicians and anesthesia staff during procedures.
• Operate and demonstrate proficiency with scope processor.
• Stock and order anesthesia supplies as needed.
• Turnover Procedure Room promptly after cases.
• Maintain aseptic techniques to prevent infection.
• Participate in surgical time-out for patient safety.
• Review and update physician preference cards under supervision.
• Clean and prepare instruments and equipment after use.
