Qualifications

• Certified staff must have three years of endoscopy experience.
• Non-certified staff must have five years of endoscopy experience.
• Must maintain current BLS/Healthcare Provider certification.
• GTS or CBSPD certification required; alternative: two additional years of endoscopy experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist with advanced endoscopic procedures, including interventional steps.
• Provide staff training and oversee scope handling and care.
• Support physician with fluoroscopic imaging and equipment troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams during procedures.
• Prepare procedure area and equipment; maintain clean, safe work area.
• Reprocesss Flexible Endoscopes per policy; ensure instrumentation readiness.
