Job summary

TriStar Southern Hills Medical Center is seeking a Cardiovascular Technologist/Special Procedure Technician to scrub and assist during interventional cardiac and peripheral angiographic studies. You will monitor hemodynamic data, administer contrast according to guidelines, and maintain sterile technique throughout procedures.

Candidates should have an RCIS/RCES eligibility or registration, ARRT RT(R) license, and BLS; ACLS within 6 months of hire.

Qualifications

• BLS certification is required.
• ACLS training within 6 months of hire.
• Minimum 1 year of Cath lab/EP lab experience preferred.
• RCIS or RCES registration/adv. registration within 1 year of hire or eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Scrub and assist interventional physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac and peripheral angiographic studies.
• Record and monitor hemodynamic measurements and readings.
• Set up sterile trays and maintain a sterile field per hospital protocol.
• Follow physician orders and document exams in Meditech; verify images in PACS; manage IV access.
