TriStar Hendersonville Medical Center, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking a Special Procedures Technologist PRN to support interventional cardiovascular procedures. The role includes scrubbing, assisting physicians, contrast administration, and IV setup within a dynamic radiology team.

Qualifications include Radiologic Technology training, ARRT-R/RCIS/RCES or Radiologic license within 1 year, ACLS and BLS within specified timelines, and 2 years of experience (8 years accepted with advanced

Formación

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Licensure/registration within 1 year (ARRT-R, RCIS, or RCES) or Radiologic Technologist license within one year of hire.
• ACLS must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date.
• BLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.

Responsabilidades

• Perform contrast media administration per age/weight guidelines.
• Set up sterile trays and maintain sterile field per hospital protocol.
• Scrub and assist interventional physician during procedures.
• Understand drugs, their actions, side effects and contraindications for administration.
• Initiate and maintain IV access.
• Document exams in Meditech and verify images in PACS.

2 years experience in cardiovascular

8 years procedure experience optional

Educación
