Job summary

Southern Hills Hospital and Medical Center seeks an IR Technologist to support physicians in diagnostic and interventional procedures across neonatal to geriatric patients. You will assist in the Cath Lab and related areas, providing hands-on radiologic support and cross-training as assigned to ensure safe, efficient procedures.

The role requires ARRT or RCIS certification, CPR, BAR completion, ACLS within 12 months, and at least two years of healthcare experience.

Qualifications

• ARRT or RCIS certification required.
• Current CPR (Basic Life Support) certificate.
• BAR: Basic Arrhythmia Reading – in-house class, pass within 90 days.
• ACLS certification within one year of hire.
• RCIS Registry OR ARRT Registry; VI/CI credential within one year.
• Minimum two years in healthcare setting preferred.
• Knowledge of sterile technique preferred.
• Demonstrated interpersonal skills for positive teamwork.
• Radiographer with Special Procedures competence for at least two years.

Responsibilities

• Perform technical patient care and daily functions of the IR/SP scope of practice.
• Cross-train in Cath Lab and related areas such as stress testing, Cath Lab, PICC insertion.
• Apply x-ray energy to assist in diagnosis or treatment.
• Assist Radiologist during Interventional Radiology / Special Procedures cases.
