Job summary

TriStar Centennial Medical Center is seeking a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech (ARRT, RCIS, RCES) to join our cardiovascular team. You will scrub and assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac and peripheral angiographic studies, monitor patients, and document with the Hemodynamic Monitoring System.

The role requires licensure/certification through RCIS/RCES or ARRT RT(R), BLS and ACLS training within 6 months.

Qualifications

• Current RCIS/RCES (CCI) or ARRT RT(R) license/ certification, eligible for RCIS/RCES within 12 months.
• Current BLS certification.
• ACLS training required within 6 months of joining the team.
• Minimum 1 year Cath Lab or EP Lab experience preferred, new grads considered.

Responsibilities

• Scrub and assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac and peripheral angiographic studies.
• Monitor, record, and report vital signs and symptoms to ensure patient safety.
• Document using the Hemodynamic Monitoring System during procedures.
• Prepare patients and assist the medical team before and after procedures.
• Respond to emergencies, including STEMIs within 30 minutes when on-call.
• Precept new team members and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
