Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking an Invasive CV Technologist to assist physicians in diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures at St James Hospital in Butte, MT. You will support the clinical team with data collection, patient history review, and procedure preparation, ensuring high-quality care.

The role requires maintaining sterile technique, following radiation safety guidelines, and operating lab equipment.

Qualifications

Associate degree or 6 months to 1 year related experience and/or training.
BLS required upon hire; ACLS required within 12 months of hire.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
Ability to solve practical problems and interpret instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Responsibilities

Assist physician with catheter insertions and injections during diagnostic angiography and heart catheterization.
Perform data recording and labeling; maintain patient files and charts.
Follow radiation safety guidelines and sterile techniques.
Schedule procedures and review pertinent patient history and data.
Maintain and operate cath lab equipment and PACS/DICOM systems.
Communicate assessments to physicians and health team members.
