Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking an Invasive Cardiovascular (CV) Technologist to support the cardiovascular lab at St James Hospital in Butte, MT. You will assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional procedures, collect and document hemodynamic data, and ensure patient safety throughout the cath lab workflow.

The role requires completing procedures with sterile technique, maintaining equipment, and adhering to radiation safety and infection control policies.

Qualifications

• LANGUAGE SKILLS - ability to read, analyze, and interpret professional material and communicate effectively.
• MATHEMATICAL SKILLS - ability to calculate figures and apply basic algebra/geometry.
• REASONING ABILITY - solve practical problems and interpret various instructions.

Responsibilities

• Assists physician in catheter insertions and injections during diagnostic angiography and heart cath procedures.
• Performs data collection of anatomical, physiological and hemodynamic information for interpretation.
• Maintains equipment, supplies, and records, ensuring proper labeling and labeling of patient charts.
• Follows radiation safety guidelines and infection control policies.
• Records procedure data accurately, including ejection fractions and cardiac outputs.
