Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking an Invasive CV Technologist to assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures in a cath lab setting at St. James Hospital, Butte, MT.

The role supports data collection, charting, and adherence to safety protocols while collaborating with the clinical team. You will perform equipment checks, manage supplies, and help schedule procedures, while observing infection control and radiation safety.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree (A.A.) or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or combination of education and experience.
• BLS certification required upon hire.
• ACLS certification required within 12 months of hire.
• Reading, interpreting professional standards and regulations; ability to write reports and communicate.
• Numerical skills to calculate figures and understand measurements.
• Able to solve problems and interpret instructions.

Responsibilities

• Assists physician with cardiovascular and interventional procedures in the cath lab.
• Maintains patient data and labeling; ensures correct documentation and charting.
• Cleans and maintains equipment and supplies; monitors supplies and inventory.
• Follows radiation safety guidelines and infection control procedures.
• Coordinates lab procedures and supports clinical data collection for patient history.
