Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking an Invasive CV Technologist to support physicians during cardiovascular interventional procedures at St James Hospital in Butte, Montana. You will assist with angiography and heart catheterization, manage data collection, and ensure patient safety throughout the procedure.

You will also maintain equipment, follow radiation safety guidelines, and communicate critical findings to the team while contributing to a collaborative, patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret professional journals, procedures, or regulations.
• Ability to write reports, correspondence, and manuals; present information to managers and customers.
• Ability to calculate figures and apply basic algebra and geometry; understand proportions and volumes.

Responsibilities

• Assists physician with catheter insertions and angiography/surgeries using sterile technique.
• Schedules procedures and records pertinent patient history and clinical data.
• Performs regular cleaning of equipment, transducers, injectors, and compressors.
• Maintains cath lab network computers and PACS; ensures proper labeling and charges.
• Communicates patient condition and any unusual situations to physicians and health team.
