Job summary

Intermountain Health in Butte, MT is seeking an Invasive CV Technologist to assist physicians in catheter-based cardiovascular procedures, including angiography, angioplasty, stent insertions and pacemaker insertions. You will prepare rooms, monitor equipment and maintain sterile technique.

The role requires an Associate's degree, BLS on hire, ACLS within 12 months, and ability to read and interpret medical data; 40-hour week with 10-hour shifts, on-site at St. James Hospital.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent training required.
• BLS certification required on hire.
• ACLS required within 12 months of hire.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret professional journals, procedures, and regulations.
• Strong mathematical and analytical reasoning skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and assist in catheter insertions, angiography and related procedures.
• Maintain sterile technique and clean equipment and supplies.
• Label and manage patient charts, update records, and monitor history.
• Follow radiation safety guidelines and proper documentation of procedure data.
• Schedule procedures and collect pertinent patient history for the lab.
• Communicate assessments and any concerns to physicians and team.
• Operate and maintain cath lab network equipment and PACS.
• Support cardioversions when performed in the lab.
