Halifax Health, recognised as a leading cardiovascular care provider, seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for Interventional Cardiology. The RN will assess, plan, implement and evaluate care per the nursing process, directing and coordinating care with LPNs, CNAs and support staff.

Assignments are tailored to the patient population and setting, with emphasis on safety, collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, and patient advocacy to achieve positive outcomes and timely discharge.

Qualifications

• RN – State of Florida - Degree from an accredited school of nursing, bachelor degree preferred.
• Completion of unit orientation and unit-specific competency checklist.
• Excellent communication skills are needed in dealing with physicians, patients, family, and other disciplines.

Responsabilités

• Assesses the patient on admission and ongoing; plans and coordinates care.
• Involves family/significant others in the plan of care as desired by the patient.
• Collaborates with the multidisciplinary team to achieve patient outcomes.
• Initiates and verifies physician orders and documents data.
