Job summary

Halifax Staffing is seeking a Registered Nurse for an Interventional Cardiology role in Florida. The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, direct and coordinate nursing care for the team, and ensure age-appropriate care.

Day shift in the United States. Responsibilities include patient assessment on admission, ongoing monitoring, teaching, documentation, and collaboration with physicians and staff to achieve positive outcomes and timely discharge.

Qualifications

• Current Florida RN license is required.
• BSN preferred; hospital orientation completed.
• Completion of unit orientation and competency checklist.
• Excellent interpersonal communication with patients, families, and colleagues.
• Certifications as required by the unit.
• Continual completion of annual competency modules.
• Ability to assess and monitor patient conditions and respond to changes.
• Ability to document assessments accurately.
• Adheres to safety and privacy policies.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care per the nursing process.
• Coordinate and delegate care with LPNs, CNAs, and unit staff.
• Administer medications according to policies.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to achieve patient outcomes.
• Provide patient and family teaching and discharge planning.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and professional appearance.
