Health Care Administrators Association® (HCAA) is seeking an Experienced RN to join the Cath Lab team. The role provides specialized nursing care for cardiac procedures within a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include patient assessment, monitoring during procedures, medication administration, and collaboration with cardiology and interventional teams. The position emphasizes safety, education, and adherence to evidence-based practices.

Qualifications

• Active RN licensure in the appropriate state.
• Experience in cardiac catheterizations, interventional procedures, or device implants preferred.
• Proficient in patient assessment, monitoring, and sedation with physician direction.
• Knowledge of emergency response protocols and quality improvement practices.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patients during procedures.
• Administer medications and support conscious sedation under physician direction.
• Circulate and scrub as appropriate.
• Collaborate with cardiologists, technologists, and teams to ensure safe care.
• Educate patients and families about procedures and care.
• Maintain documentation and support quality improvement initiatives.
• Assist in emergencies in the cath lab.
