Job summary

Capital Health is seeking a skilled registered nurse to provide quality nursing care for patients undergoing interventional radiologic procedures. You will assess patients, assist physicians, document procedures, and educate patients and families throughout admission and discharge.

The role requires an Associate degree in nursing, NJ RN license with BLS, and ongoing certifications (ACLS/NRP/PALS as assigned). This full-time position offers comprehensive benefits and a 40-hour work week.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree from an accredited nursing program.
• Two years of critical care experience or training.
• NJ RN license with BLS; ACLS/NRP/PALS as assigned or within required timelines.

Responsibilities

• Delivers nursing care during interventional radiologic procedures.
• Assesses patient condition and communicates with physician.
• Assists physician during procedures and documents the event.
• Educates patient and family and provides discharge instructions.
• Plans and documents a discharge plan for post-procedure care.
• Ensures accurate handoffs and coordinates with the care team.
