Qualifications

• Current state license.
• Knowledge of State Standards and Common Core Standards.
• Experience in full room inclusion or Co-Teaching in a Resource Room model.
• Growth-focused coaching environment with frequent observations and progress monitoring.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Outlook.
• Excellent organization and time management.
• Ability to pass FBI/BCI background checks.
• Multicultural experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support educational and behavioral goals for all students, focusing on students with IEPs.
• Collaborate with teachers, interpret student abilities, assist in intervention strategies.
• Conduct diagnostic assessments for instruction.
• Conduct functional behavior assessments and write behavior plans.
• Facilitate IEP Meetings and write IEP goals/objectives.
• Engage in planning and implementing non-instructional activities.
• Communicate regularly with families about academic and social-emotional growth.
• Exercise advisor duties for a group of students.
