Qualifications

• Current state license
• Knowledge of State Standards and Common Core Standards
• Experience in full room inclusion or Co-Teaching in a Resource Room
• Growth‑focused coaching with frequent observations and progress monitoring
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Outlook)
• Excellent organization and time management
• Ability to pass federal and state background checks
• Experience in a multi‑cultural setting preferred

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with classroom teachers to interpret abilities/disabilities and modify curricula
• Conduct diagnostic assessments for instruction
• Conduct functional behavior assessments
• Write and implement behavior improvement plans
• Facilitate IEP meetings and write goals/objectives
• Meet goals related to student achievement and culture
• Communicate regularly with families about student progress
• Plan and participate in non-instructional activities and events
• Perform other duties as assigned
