Mercedes-Benz U.S. International, Inc. offers an internship in project coordination for international students.

You will coordinate maintenance preparation activities for a new model project, assist with training, spare parts, documentation, and supplier SLAs while developing your organizational and teamwork skills. The program targets students outside the USA, requires at least three semesters, and supports a minimum six-month commitment.

Qualifications

Essential Functions

• Coordinate maintenance preparation activities for new model project
• Preparation activities includes coordination for training, spare parts, document checks, snag lists, supplier SLA's
• This is an ideal postions for someone who is looking to combine their strong technical understanding with people coordination

Other Regular Daily Tasks

• Planning, coordination and communication of various projects and tasks
• Preparation of system acceptance, creation and tracking of various initiatives
• Execution of meetings and creation of meeting minutes
• General support

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS: Education, Experience and Necessary Skills all must be met in order to qualify for position.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Business Administration, Mechanical Engineering, Finance/Controlling, Architecture, Civil Engineering or in a related area, and/or the equivalent combination of education and experience.

Necessary Skills, Certifications, etc

• Fluent in English and German (oral/written)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
• Team-oriented
• Distinctive interpersonal skills
• Affinity for numbers
• Good organizational skills
• Structured & self-reliant

Preferred Start Date

• Paid internship - hourly rate $18
• Coverage of visa costs
• $700 housing bonus

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in University or in a gap year between Bachelor'sand Master's degree
• Studies outside of the U.S.A (we are not accepting applications from students who are currently studying in the U.S.A)
• A minimum of 3semesters of studies in relevant field of study
• Available for a minimum of 6months
