Mercedes-Benz U.S. International, Inc. invites motivated university students in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or Supply Chain to join our internship program in Alabama.

The role supports a cross-functional localization team during new vehicle launches, data reporting, and workshop planning, with opportunities for independent projects. Eligible candidates must be enrolled and available for at least 6 months starting February 2027, with visa coverage provided and a housing bonus

Qualifications

• Fluent in English (oral/written).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to create reports and PowerPoint presentations.
• Ability to analyze and summarize data.

Responsibilities

• Gather feedback to prepare reports and presentations for management meetings.
• Represent the localization team in cross-functional meetings for new vehicle launches.
• Assist project management in parts maturity including color evaluations.
• Plan and organize supplier and internal workshops for model year and new vehicle launches.
• Track standard process KPIs for model year and new vehicle launches.
• Develop training material for used systems and reporting applications and onboarding process for new team members.
• Take on additional projects with independent responsibilities and opportunities to present to management.

Essential Functions:

• Support the cross-functional team by gathering feedback to prepare reports, presentations for management meetings, and standardization efforts
• Represent the product localization team in cross-functional project meetings related to project management of new vehicle launch
• Assist the project management team in different projects to steer the maturity level of parts including color evaluations
• Plan and organize supplier and internal workshops related to model year and new vehicle launch
• Assist with the tracking of standard process KPIs related to project management for model year and new vehicle launches
• Support with development of training material for the used systems and reporting applications and onboarding process for new team members
• Opportunity for additional projects with independent responsibilities and a platform to present on various management levels

Other Regular Daily Tasks:

• Data and system maintenance
• Support team with creation of standard reports

Qualifikationen

QUALIFICATIONS: Education, Experience and Necessary Skills all must be met in order to qualify for position.

Education:

Student in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or in a related area, and/or the equivalent combination of education and experience.

Necessary Skills, Certifications, etc.:

• Fluent in English(oral/written)
• Proficientin Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to create reports and PowerPoint presentations
• Ability to analyze and summarize data

Preferred skills:

• Experience with PowerBI
• Experience in Project Management
• Material and manufacturing knowledge

• February 2027

Requirements:

• Currentlyenrolled in University or in a gap year between Bachelor'sand Master’s degree
• Studies outside of the U.S.A
• A minimum of 3semesters of studies in relevant field of study
• Available for a minimum of 6months
