Job summary

Mediacom Communications seeks an Internet Technical Support Representative I to handle inbound calls, troubleshoot internet/phone issues, and guide customers to the best solutions. Training starts onsite, followed by a hybrid work schedule (75% remote, 25% in-office).

You’ll use active listening and a structured call flow to resolve issues on first contact while supporting sales and customer satisfaction metrics.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; an associate degree is preferred.
• 1–2 years of customer service experience, inbound call center preferred.
• Technical support experience preferred; ability to translate tech into customer-friendly solutions.
• Strong multitasking and ability to navigate multiple systems while talking with customers.
• Proficiency with Windows and common email apps; basic browser knowledge.
