Job summary

Sonic Automotive is seeking a Traffic Manager in Mishawaka, IN to oversee 100% Traffic Management Playbook compliance, in-store structure, and Brand KPI performance. You will work with dealership teams and the Brand Traffic Management Director to boost traffic management, sales, and profitability.

This role interacts with New and Used Vehicle Operations to provide analysis and support, reporting to the General Manager.

Qualifications

• Preferred 2 years automotive retail management.
• Preferred 2 years training and development (store and/or corporate level).
• Able to set priorities, multi-task, achieve goals and obtain buy-in.
• Ability to identify opportunities and create action plans to improve sales performance.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a thorough understanding of Traffic Management.
• Identifies and addresses low performing areas in KPI terms and targets.
• Partners with TMDs and GMs to implement action plans and hold teams accountable.
• Drives standardization of traffic management processes at the department level.
• Communicates traffic management changes to all applicable teammates.
• Partners with TMD and eLead support to resolve issues and complete requests.
• Outlines growth plans to achieve KPI targets and awards.
• Performs monthly traffic management audits and reviews KPI scorecards.
• Leads weekly internet traffic management meetings.
• Performs regular mystery shops to ensure lead performance.
• Reviews call performance daily and inspects website for accuracy.
