Title

International Trade Compliance Manager

Location

$120,000 - $175,000

Schedule

Hybrid schedule available of up to 2 days remote per week

Focus

The International Trade Compliance Manager leads Olin's trade compliance programs, import/export operations, marine logistics, and transportation cost management activities across North America. The role drives regulatory compliance, operational efficiency, and cost effective movement of goods in support of organizational goals.

What You'll Do
  • Develop and communicate trade compliance objectives and policies.
  • Oversee duty management programs and customs compliance processes
  • Serve as Harmonized System (HS) classification subject matter expert
  • Lead compliance automation, ERP integration, and process improvements
  • Manage import and export operations, customs brokers, documentation, and cross-border logistics
  • Drive transportation and trade compliance cost management, freight spend analysis, and landed cost optimization
  • Lead operations team and provide strategic oversight of marine logistics operations; including barges, vessels, containers, marine terminals, and ports across the region
  • Manage marine carrier, vessel, barge, and terminal operator performance to ensure safe, compliant, and cost-effective operations
  • Optimize vessel scheduling, terminal utilization, throughput, demurrage, and transportation costs
  • Develop KPIs and continuous improvement initiatives across logistics and trade compliance activities
Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree*; Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, Logistics or related fields preferred; Advanced degree preferred
  • 10+ years of Supply Chain, Logistics, or Manufacturing experience
  • 3+ years of International Trade, Customs, or Trade Compliance experience
  • Strong cost management, freight procurement, and supply chain optimization skills
  • Demonstrated import/export operational acumen and international logistics expertise
  • Experience with ERP systems and trade automation tools
  • Strong marine logistics experience; including management of barges, ocean vessels, marine terminals, ports, and bulk transportation networks
  • Understanding of terminal operations, vessel scheduling, berth management, marine transportation economics, and maritime supply chain optimization
  • Must be able to travel up to 10%
  • Must be able to obtain a TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential) and possess a valid Driver's License
