Talent Solutions Partners is helping a leading international law firm fill the position of International Trade Associate Attorney in Washington, DC. The role offers a hybrid work arrangement and opportunities to advise on complex U.S. trade regulations and compliance matters.

Ideal candidates will have a JD from a top-tier law school, DC bar in good standing, and 2–4 years of substantive international trade experience, including AD/CVD proceedings and OFAC/EAR/BIS matters.

Qualifications

• JD from a top-tier law school with excellent academic record.
• Active DC Bar admission in good standing.
• 2-4 years of substantive international trade experience.
• Experience counseling on U.S. international trade regulatory issues.
• Experience with trade remedy matters (AD/CVD).
• Experience litigating before U.S. trade agencies and the U.S. Court of International Trade.
• Experience advising on economic sanctions (OFAC).
• Experience with EAR and BIS export control matters.
• Strong legal research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities; collaborative team player.
• Large law firm experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on international trade and regulatory compliance matters.
• Counsel on U.S. trade remedy laws, including AD/CVD proceedings and related enforcement matters.
• Represent clients before government agencies and in litigation before the U.S. Court of International Trade.
• Provide strategic advice regarding U.S. economic sanctions, export controls, and cross-border regulatory requirements.
• Conduct regulatory analyses and assist clients in developing compliance programs for international trade regulations.
• Monitor and assess developments in trade policy, sanctions, and export control regimes affecting client operations.
• Collaborate with attorneys across practice areas on complex international business, regulatory, and governmental matters.
