Our client, a leading international law firm in Washington, DC, seeks an Associate Attorney to join its International Trade Practice Group. The role involves advising on trade remedies, sanctions, export controls, and regulatory compliance, with opportunities to litigate before U.S. trade agencies.

Ideal candidates have a JD from a top-tier law school, DC Bar admission, 2–4 years of trade experience, and strong research/writing skills; big-firm experience preferred and a collaborative culture.

Qualifications

• JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record.
• Active Bar Admission in Washington, DC, in good standing.
• 2-4 years of substantive international trade experience.
• Experience counseling clients on U.S. international trade regulatory issues.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on international trade and regulatory compliance matters.
• Counsel on U.S. trade remedy laws, including AD/CVD proceedings.
• Represent clients before government agencies and the U.S. Court of International Trade.
• Provide guidance on U.S. economic sanctions, export controls, and cross-border requirements.
• Monitor developments in trade policy and sanctions affecting client operations.
