Leading international law firm in Washington, DC seeks an Associate Attorney for its International Trade Practice Group. The role focuses on advising clients on complex trade remedies, sanctions, export controls, and regulatory compliance, with opportunities for high-profile matters.

Ideal candidates hold a JD from a top-tier law school, DC bar in good standing, and 2–4 years of relevant experience in international trade and related litigation, with strong research and communication skills.

Formación

• JD from a top-tier law school with excellent academic record.
• Active Bar Admission in Washington, DC in good standing.
• 2–4 years of substantive international trade experience.
• Experience counseling clients on U.S. international trade regulatory issues.
• Experience with trade remedy matters (AD/CVD).
• Litigation before U.S. trade agencies and the U.S. Court of International Trade.
• Experience advising on OFAC sanctions, EAR and BIS export controls.
• Strong legal research, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team; large law firm experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Advise clients on international trade and regulatory compliance matters.
• Counsel on U.S. trade remedy laws, including AD/CVD proceedings.
• Represent clients before government agencies and the U.S. Court of International Trade.
• Provide strategic guidance on U.S. sanctions, export controls and cross-border regulations.
• Develop compliance programs and monitor trade policy developments.
• Collaborate with attorneys across practice areas on complex matters.
