Job summary

UFP Industries is seeking a Purchasing Coordinator to manage inbound and outbound purchases within the International Purchasing Department. You will work with buyers, mills, and internal teams to ensure accurate order processing and exceptional service, with potential direct customer contact to resolve issues and drive sales opportunities.

You will create POs, track orders, and maintain supplier communications, while assisting in reporting and freight-rate retrieval for international shipments.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years in supply chain or procurement.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Spanish speaking required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Create POs and process related documents and payables.
• Assist buyers in tracking and tracing orders.
• Communicate with suppliers to ensure information accuracy.
• Develop reports and compile market information.
• Process reports, documents and purchases timely.
• Retrieve cost/rates for international freight lanes.
• Coordinate with internal teams to deliver international documentation.
• Collaborate across sales, logistics and purchasing.
• Support special projects and team goals.
• Perform other duties as required.
