Job summary

City of Houston’s Bush Intercontinental Airport / International Services seeks an Airport Services Representative II to assist travelers with directions and processing through the Federal Inspection Service, ensuring smooth travel and compliance with regulations. This role demands strong customer service, multilingual abilities, and coordination with airlines and CBP.

Qualifications

• Requires an Associate Degree, preferably in Hospitality Management, Aviation Management, Business or related fields.
• Two years of experience in a customer service or hospitality environment are required.
• Bachelor’s degree may substitute for education and experience.
• Preference for bilingual skills in Japanese or Portuguese for customer service.

Responsibilities

• Supports scheduling and monitoring breaks for Supervisory team.
• Coordinates with airlines and CBP to process passengers efficiently.
• Assist international passengers through the FIS area in collaboration with CBP leadership.
• Greet and assist international and domestic visitors and dignitaries.
• Promote collaboration to improve the international passenger processing experience.
