• Japanese language skills are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process import and export shipping documents.
• Book vessel space with ocean carriers.
• Coordinate shipment, delivery, and container schedules.
• Communicate with customers, carriers, overseas offices, and business partners.
• Respond to customer inquiries and provide shipment status updates.
• Prepare invoices and related documentation.
• Enter and maintain shipment information in the company’s logistics system.
• Assist with other freight forwarding and administrative duties as needed.

International Freight Forwarding Coordinator

Location: Torrance, CA

Pay: $23.00–$24.00/hour, depending on experience

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

Flexible start and end times may be available.

The position will initially on-site in Torrance for training and to become familiar with the company’s operations and systems.
