You will manage end-to-end export processes for consumer goods and food products to Asia and other markets, ensuring compliance with trade regulations and optimizing shipments. You will coordinate with ocean carriers, freight forwarders, and suppliers, prepare export documents, monitor shipments, and maintain proactive communication with customers.

Qualifications

• 1+ years in export operations, logistics, or international trading (2+ years preferred).
• High School Diploma required; Associate or Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Strong understanding of export regulations, shipping docs, Incoterms, and customs procedures.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and cloud collaboration tools.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end export operations from product pickup to dispatching shipping documents.
• Prepare export documentation: commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading.
• Coordinate with ocean carriers, freight forwarders, and transport partners to optimize shipments.
• Maintain proactive communication with customers on shipment status and schedules.
• Coordinate production schedules with suppliers and evaluate production samples.
• Review/vendor invoices and monitor accounts receivable/payable for shipments.

【Position】

Export Coordinator

【Summary】

We are seeking a meticulous and driven Export Coordinator to join our global logistics team. In this role, you will manage the end-to-end export process for consumer goods and food products to Asia and other international markets from North America and Europe. You will ensure compliance with international trade regulations while optimizing the supply chain for efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Coordinating closely with ocean carriers, freight forwarders, truckers, manufacturers, and global clients, you will play a crucial role in facilitating international trade and supporting overall business growth.

【Essential Duties】

• Manage end-to-end export operations (from product pick-up to dispatching shipping documents) in compliance with trade regulations and company policies.
• Issue purchase orders, sales orders, and prepare export documentation including commercial invoices, packing lists, and bills of lading.
• Coordinate with ocean carriers, freight forwarders, and transportation partners to schedule timely and cost-effective shipments, while monitoring status and resolving delays or customs clearance issues.
• Maintain proactive communication with customers regarding shipment updates and delivery schedules.
• Coordinate production schedules with suppliers/manufacturers, evaluate quality of production samples, and handle approval/feedback under management direction.
• Review and submit vendor invoices, and monitor accounts receivable (A/R) and accounts payable (A/P) for assigned shipments until fully settled.
• Collaborate with cross-functional internal teams (Sales, Procurement, Finance) and engage in cross-training to support operational flexibility.

【Working Hours, Working Style】

Mon–Fri 08:30–17:30 (Non-Exempt),（8 hours/day with 1-hour unpaid lunch break)

【Qualifications】

• 1+ years of experience in export operations, logistics, or international trading (2+ years preferred).
• High School Diploma required (Associate or Bachelor’s Degree preferred).
• Strong understanding of export regulations, shipping documentation, Incoterms, and customs procedures.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) and cloud collaboration tools (e.g., Google Workspace).
• Exceptional organizational, detail-oriented, and proactive problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift and move up to 20–25 lbs occasionally (product samples, documentation).
• Business proficiency/fluency in Japanese is a plus.
