Job summary

Save A Lot is seeking an Export Clerk to support our international operations. You will receive international orders, coordinate with the distribution center, and schedule deliveries for food banks and wholesale customers.

You will create proforma invoices, arrange necessary certifications, and manage export documentation to ensure timely shipments. You will also coordinate USDA inspections, stage containers, and communicate with customers to maximize container fill and provide reports.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years export experience.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of USDA guidelines a plus.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Receive international orders and build a weekly schedule for the DC.
• Coordinate orders from food banks and wholesale customers with the DC and schedule deliveries.
• Create and send proforma invoices to international customers.
• Schedule USDA inspections as needed to meet shipping schedules.
• Release orders for selection and prepare BOLs for food bank, wholesale and international loads.
• Email all paperwork—including BOLs, certificates and invoices—to customers.
