Job summary

Sun Commodities Inc is seeking an Export Clerk to perform clerical functions in support of the Export Department. The incumbent plans and organizes work around established deadlines, remains highly detail oriented, and adheres to confidential information.

Responsibilities include handling customer requests by phone or mail, processing orders, preparing documentation such as bills of lading and invoices, and coordinating with other departments to ensure timely order completion.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or AA Degree required.
• General accounting experience required.
• Minimum 1 year experience in a similar position.
• Excellent customer service and English communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; AS/400 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receives customer requests by phone or mail and routes to proper person.
• Analyzes transactions, corrects records, and fixes errors.
• Resolves customer questions related to orders and takes orders as needed.
• Maintains liaison with other departments for order completion.
• Writes up orders, mails catalogs, samples, price quotations, and similar data.
• Prepares documentation such as bill of lading, invoicing and AES if applicable.
