Lone Star National Bank in McAllen, TX, seeks an International Banker I to provide full-service banking for international and domestic customers. You will manage relationships, onboard clients, and service accounts while complying with regulatory requirements.

The role emphasizes accurate execution, exceptional service, and cross-selling across banking partners to meet department goals. Bilingual English/Spanish is required, with travel to banking markets as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or 6–12 months financial servicing experience with Mexican National/P&E clients.
• One year of personal banking or consumer loan experience with Mexican National or international clients.
• Must be bilingual in English and Spanish (written and spoken).
• Typing 40–50 wpm and familiarity with office equipment.
• Familiarity with word processing and spreadsheet software.
• Attention to detail and strong concentration for multi-tasking.
• Excellent organizational, verbal and written communication and customer relations skills.
• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
• Travel to various banking markets as needed, mainly to bring new relationships and for customer service.

Responsabilités

• Creates a welcoming environment and communicates professionally with customers and team members.
• Delivers high-quality customer service to international and domestic clients.
• Manages international and domestic portfolios and packaged-product accounts.
• Prepares onboarding memos and BSA review packages.
• Opens and services checking, savings, credit cards, and loan accounts.
• Provides Personal Banker services and cross-sells bank products and self-service options.
• Ensures BSA/CIP compliance and accurate documentation.
• Maintains customer records and supports department goals.
