Job summary

Qualifications

• Exceptional writing and editing skills; writing sample required.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to synthesize information.
• Professional discretion handling confidential information with donors.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects.
• Advanced knowledge of MS Word, Excel, database reporting; PowerPoint/Adobe Acrobat.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Yale departments to develop proposals and briefings.
• Maintain a log of academic and programming activities with development potential.
• Coordinate and staff events; manage invitations and guest speakers.
• Conduct research on individuals, foundations, governments, and institutions.
• Draft biographical materials, proposals, gift agreements, and stewardship reports.
• Produce ad hoc reports from the Alumni database.
• Assist with donor inquiries and ensure accuracy of donor records.
