Job summary

The Los Angeles Dodgers LLC is seeking a Manager, International Baseball Strategy and Information to elevate international scouting data, tooling, and analytics. You will own data foundations, build self-serve analytics, and help translate questions into repeatable pipelines across vendors and internal systems.

Ideal candidates have 3–5+ years of experience with multi-source sports data, strong SQL and Python/R skills, and the ability to present insights to executive stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of experience working with messy, multi-source data — sports/scouting data a plus
• Strong production-quality SQL and Python or R; experience with data pipelines or ETL
• Experience distilling complex analyses into executive-level narratives and visuals
• Ability to identify problems and propose solutions without being asked; initiative-driven

Responsibilities

• Data Foundation: understand international scouting data across vendors and tools; define data quality and build validation processes
• Analytical Tools: create self-serve tools for historians and analysts to explore trends by country, league, position, age, signing bonus
• Valuation & Projection: contribute to models for international players, league translations, bonus pool, and biomechanical data-based projections
• Day-to-Day: write SQL and Python/R daily; collaborate with international scouts, analysts, and IT; translate questions into data pipelines; present findings to non-technical stakeholders
