Job summary

The Los Angeles Dodgers are hiring a Manager, International Baseball Strategy and Information to lead a new function advancing statistical rigor and tooling for International Scouting. You will work across departments to create data pipelines and reports that support strategic decision-making.

The role requires ownership of multi-source international data, establishing data quality standards, and building self-serve analytics for scouts and analysts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mathematics, economics, statistics, computer science, data science, operations research, or a related quantitative-field.
• 3–5+ years of experience with messy, multi-source data; sports/scouting data is a plus.
• Strong SQL and Python or R, with data pipelines/ETL experience.
• Ability to distill analyses into executive-level narratives and visuals.
• Proactive problem-solver who can work across teams and geographies.
• Understanding of baseball and international markets; signing dynamics knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Write production-quality SQL and Python/R daily; develop data pipelines.
• Build tools for international scouting data exploration across country, league, position, age, bonuses.
• Collaborate with scouts, analysts and IT to translate questions into data work.
• Lead valuation and projection efforts for international players and related modeling.
• Present findings to non-technical stakeholders in an accessible form.
