Job summary

The Los Angeles Dodgers are seeking an Analyst, International Baseball Strategy & Information to support data-driven decisions in international baseball markets. You will audit data sources, build validation checks, and collaborate with scouts and analysts to develop scalable data pipelines.

You will contribute to exploratory tools and valuation models, translating complex questions into robust data solutions and presenting findings to non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in a quantitative field.
• 0-3 years of experience with strong quantitative/statistics/data science training.
• Comfortable writing production-quality SQL and Python or R; experience with data pipelines/ETL/dbt-style workflows a strong plus.
• Genuine interest in baseball and international markets; understand signing dynamics and leagues.
• Comfortable with ambiguity and able to communicate findings to non-technical baseball people.
• Able to relocate to Los Angeles and commute to Dodger Stadium, with flexibility for evenings/weekends/holidays.
• Nice to have: fluency in Spanish or Japanese; experience with distributed data, cloud data infra, or BI/dashboard tools.
