Job summary

Ascension's Columbia St. Mary's Hospital in Milwaukee is seeking a physician MD/DO to provide comprehensive diagnostic and treatment services across inpatient and outpatient settings.

You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to drive patient outcomes and participate in academic initiatives and medical education within a forward-thinking clinical culture. Qualifications

• MD/DO license/certification in Wisconsin required.
• Advanced Life Support preferred (AHA/Red Cross accepted).
• Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathy required.

• Lead Clinical Care: Deliver comprehensive diagnostic and treatment services across inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Drive Patient Outcomes: Manage the full care continuum, from admission and consultation to collaborative discharge planning.
• Champion Quality: Partner with multidisciplinary teams to ensure cost-effective, high-quality care standards.
• Foster Growth: Engage in academic initiatives, research, and medical education as part of a forward-thinking clinical culture.
• Seamless Support: Handle administrative tasks including insurance documentation and denial appeals.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Wisconsin Medical Examining Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
