Kinder Morgan, Inc. is seeking a corrosion engineering professional to lead the internal corrosion program for the Natural Gas Pipelines unit in Houston.

The role provides technical direction to field supervisors and technicians, reviews inspection data, and supports the development of standards and training materials. The position requires collaboration with multiple teams, effective communication, and a focus on safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum: BS in an Engineering or related Science discipline.
• Experience in corrosion control and internal corrosion monitoring preferred.
• Ability to write clear technical reports, specs and work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight to the internal corrosion program ensuring consistent procedures in the Natural Gas Pipelines unit.
• Offer corrosion control expertise to field supervisors and technicians for complex internal corrosion control tasks.
• Support technical problems across operations, measurement, and design departments.
• Assist in maintaining and improving corrosion control standards and training materials.
• Serve as subject-matter expert on KM standards and procedures including O&M and materials for corrosion control.
• Review remedial action plans from inline and internal corrosion inspections for cost-effective solutions.
