Job summary

AmeriVet Veterinary Partners is seeking a Communications Specialist to own internal communications, video messaging, and social media campaigns. Working with the Head of Corporate Communications, you will draft content, produce campaigns, and partner with Operations, Marketing, Medical and HR to drive engagement and action.

You will help lead video production, internal newsletters, and executive communications, while supporting events and morale programs across a national veterinary network.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, marketing or related field.
• 2 to 4 years in communications, journalism, marketing or related field; multi-site experience a plus.
• Hands-on video experience: planning shoots, interviewing on camera, filming and basic editing.
• Experience creating social media content and running campaigns.
• Experience with email and marketing tools, HubSpot, MS Office and iMovie; strong PowerPoint skills.
• Strong writing/editing skills with a portfolio; able to manage deadlines and approvers.

Responsibilities

• Video strategy, editing & distribution (about 33% of time).
• Lead content development for internal newsletters and campaigns.
• Plan and manage social media campaigns with Marketing.
• Draft executive thought leadership content for review.
• Support crisis communications and center communications to boost morale and culture.
• Collaborate with Operations, Medical and HR to drive engagement.
