Job summary

AmeriVet Veterinary Partners is seeking a Communications Specialist to own internal communications, including video content, newsletters, and social media campaigns. You’ll work closely with Operations, Marketing, Medical and HR to drive engagement and action across multi-site practices.

You will collaborate with leaders, manage content intake, and ensure communications are clear, timely, and aligned with strategic goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, marketing or a related field.
• 2 to 4 years in communications, journalism, marketing or a related field; healthcare or multi-site experience a plus.
• Hands-on video experience: planning shoots, interviewing on camera, filming and basic editing.
• Experience creating social media content and running campaigns.
• Experience with email and marketing tools, specifically HubSpot, MS Suite and iMovie; strong PowerPoint skills.
• Strong writing and editing skills, with a portfolio of written and video work.
• Organized and able to manage several deadlines and approvers at once.
• Proven ability to build relationships and partner with stakeholders across Operations, Marketing, Medical and HR to drive engagement and action.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to the accuracy and quality of communications.
• Comfortable working with leaders at every level and using AI tools every day.

Responsibilities

• Video strategy, editing & distribution: expand and elevate the video message and best-practice sharing.
• Manage AmeriVet Voices production: scheduling, interviews, filming, editing, publishing and distribution.
• Lead content development for internal newsletters: Practice Manager, Operations Director, Medical Director.
• Partner with leaders and content contributors and run weekly content intake and routing for review and approval.
• Plan and manage social media campaigns based on strategy and with Marketing.
• Draft executive thought leadership content for review.
• Support Strategy Execution: toolkits and key messages for Practice Leaders.
• Support conferences and events: Medical Leadership Summits and Advisory Board meetings.
• Support Center communications to strengthen morale and culture.
• Assist in crisis response communications with oversight from Head of Corporate Communications.
