Job summary

Estes Express Lines is seeking an experienced Specialist, Communications to manage internal channels and campaigns, partnering with stakeholders to inform and engage employees with Estes' mission and values.

You will craft content across newsletters, intranet, social platforms, and employee events, coordinate campaigns, monitor metrics, and ensure brand voice in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Strong writing and collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations or English, or equivalent background
• 3 years of internal communications experience
• Expertise in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel required
• Knowledge of SharePoint and digital media including web, intranet, social, and mobile technologies preferred
• Strong organization and time management skills
• Excellent writing with AP Style
• Strong verbal, written, listening, and presentation skills
• Ability to build consensus and work with diverse groups
• Teamwork and cross-functional collaboration
• Experience with design tools like Final Cut and Adobe Creative Suite preferred
• Able to follow company policies and work independently or in a team
• Must be authorized to work in the United States

Responsibilities

• Write, edit, and develop content for internal materials (newsletters, brochures, videos, social media, campaigns, announcements, presentations)
• Manage multiple internal communications campaigns and measure success with defined metrics
• Consult with teams across the company to define messaging, timelines, and production
• Maintain content and audit processes for accuracy and audience targeting
• Oversee editorial calendars and publishing across intranet, digital displays, and social platforms
• Collaborate with Employee Engagement and Communications team to ensure brand standards and consistent messaging
• Assist with planning and logistics for internal events, including digital/social components
• Determine budgets and deadlines for projects
• Regular attendance and ability to work under tight deadlines
• Perform other duties as assigned
