Job summary

RTX seeks an Intern Systems Engineer to contribute to the development of tactical communication solutions for national defense. You will work in a cross-functional, mentor-guided environment to capture, decompose, and trace requirements for military platforms and to model designs using MBSE tools.

Gain hands-on experience in systems engineering, agile practices, and security-hardened product development within Collins Aerospace and RTX, with opportunity to learn from seasoned engineers.

Qualifications

• Active pursuit of a STEM degree.
• Familiarity with RTX systems, processes, and tools.
• Experience in systems engineering, capturing requirements and tracing.
• Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering tools such as Magic Draw Cameo or Enterprise Architect.
• Experience in Agile environments with integrated engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform in a cross-functional agile team.
• Work with a mentor using Collins Aerospace engineering processes.
• Create, decompose, and trace requirements for communications systems on military platforms.
• Use a model-based systems engineering tool to create logical and physical diagrams.
• Perform integration and testing for these communications solutions.
