RTX seeks an Intern Systems Engineer to contribute to the development of tactical communication solutions for national defense. You will work in a cross-functional, mentor-guided environment to capture, decompose, and trace requirements for military platforms and to model designs using MBSE tools.

Gain hands-on experience in systems engineering, agile practices, and security-hardened product development within Collins Aerospace and RTX, with opportunity to learn from seasoned engineers.

Qualifications

You’ll contribute to the development and delivery of communication solutions that support critical customer and mission needs. What You Will Do

• Perform in a cross-functional agile team

• Creation, decomposition, and tracing requirements for communications systems on military platforms, both air and ground applications.

Qualifications

• You Must Have Requires active pursuit of a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM).
• Familiarity with RTX systems, processes, and tools.
• Experience in systems engineering to include capturing customer requirements, operations concept development, or deriving and tracing system and sub-system requirements.
• Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering concepts and tools such as Magic Draw Cameo, Enterprise Architect, or similar resources using SysML.
• Experience working in an Agile environment and being part of highly integrated Agile teams working closely with multiple engineering development teams (SW, HW, Cyber, or Sys).
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
